In memory of all who boarded Flight 705 53 years ago this morning. You are still remembered, and missed, by many.

Thank you for remembering. My Dad was one of the pilots, if it’s possible I miss him more today.
Absolutely . . . here’s to our Dads Kathy. Be well! Theresa
Thanks Theresa. It amazing to have lived most of our lives without our Dads, but still remember what wonderful men they were. I miss the way he made me feel. Kathy
It’s hard to think it has been 53 years already. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss my Dad. I know he would be so proud of all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and his wife he watched take off in a plane without him. Did he know that was the last time he would see her? Why did he wake us all up early on the morning they left for Florida and give us his blessing on our foreheads? Although he traveled weekly for his job at Thermo King, he had never done that before. There are so many unanswered questions that I will always wonder about.
Sending peace and comfort to all those left behind.
So good to be with you on this day Begonia. Lovely to see you. T.
I remember, so well, the day our family heard the news – Connie Blank was a stewardess on flight 705. Our families were close – her parents were among my Mom and Dad’s dearest friends. Connie was a beautiful girl and popular – I remember her long, blond ponytail – she was so sweet and nice to everyone – the accident has haunted me over the years – recently, I’ve been sorting photos from the past, and found photos of the Blank Family, including a baby photo of Connie. This has renewed my interest in reading more about the accident – thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts – I am not aware of any Blank Family members, now – her parents, Inez and Charlie Blank, and Brother, Garry Blank, have passed on.
Hello Mary Lou,
Thank you so very much for writing in about Connie. Over the years I have always wondered about her. What kind of gal she was. Her story. Have always hoped to hear from her family or someone who knew her. It’s great to have a testament to her and her story and a place for her to be remembered. Your memories are very special and paint a picture of a good human being. Be well, Theresa
Thank you for taking time to reply to my message regarding Connie. All the passengers, on that flight, will always be remembered. Again, thank you for providing that place to express memories of those lost. Losing those we love changes you in many ways.
My wishes for everyone that lost a loved one on Flight 705. Always in our hearts and forever a memory to be cherished Kathy Summers, my Dad was one of the pilots

Most welcome Mary Lou! I hope that if Connie’s brother had family that they can make their way to this site too. Take care, Theresa
