Captain Roy Almquist was y Father’s Brother. I was 14 at the time of the crash. I remember that night very well. Unlike now, with 24 hour news, The details of what happened were excruciatingly slow in coming. We all sat by the TV for hours waiting for any updates. It was long terrible evening. We didn’t know for hours that all had perished. My Father flew to Florida to bring home my Uncle Roy’s remains.
